It takes a combination of education, training, hands-on experience, and deliberate team effort to create a good dental care staff. And that's exactly what makes us who we are. Each of us is not only individually qualified with a particular set of essential skills, but we're also dedicated to patients.

Barry Henbest, DDS

Dr. Henbest has been interested and active in dentistry for as long as he can remember. Born and raised right here in Arkansas, he took a liking to dentistry in his childhood, began working for his family dentist at the age of 13, then worked a dental lab technician throughout his college years. In 1981, he graduated with a B.S. in Natural Science from the University of Arkansas, and went on to earn his D.D.S. in 1985 from the University of Missouri Kansas City Dental School. Even at that early point in his career, The American Academy of General Dentistry awarded him recognition as the most outstanding senior; the American Academy of Periodontal Disease awarded his outstanding achievements in periodontics (the study of the tissues and structures surrounding the teeth); he also received distinction in the area of fixed prosthetics (crown and bridgework).

Since then, he has focused his continuing education studies on the latest techniques and materials pertinent to both implant dentistry and cosmetic reconstructive dentistry. In practice, this training enables him to establish solid foundational bite mechanics, in support of further cosmetic enhancements.

Support Team

We each play an essential role in helping bring to life Dr. Henbest's vision for comprehensive, lifetime dental strategies. We begin with an attitude of genuine concern for each patient, and a desire to help them enjoy the best possible dental health. We combine that with hard work behind the scenes: meeting daily, weekly, and monthly to examine our goals, critique and improve our performance, and hammer out details required for running an effective practice. And we apply that philosophy to every minute that we're with you: we're considerate of your concerns, your comfort, and your time.

Sydnie - Dental Hygienist Sydnie is a native of Northwest Arkansas where she grew up working in her father's dental office. Currently, she and her husband are busy raising their three children in Bella Vista. Art lessons, soccer practice and supporting the Arkansas Razorbacks takes up most of her free time. However, Sydnie plans on spending more time playing golf.
Teresa- Dental Assistant She was born 43 years ago in Springfield, MO to Eugene and Freda Slinkard. She has lived in Rogers for 41 years. She has been a single mother since 1992 and has a beautiful teenage daughter, Alicia, who will be attending the Rogers High School Campus this coming year. Teresa has been a registered dental assistant for 24 years and 6 of these years at different times have been spent working for Dr. Henbest.
Kristen- Zoom! Technician Kristen was born and raised in Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas were she received a B.S. in early childhood development. Kristen has been involved in dentistry for the past 13 years. She has studied extensively in order to provide our in-office tooth whitening system. Zoom! is our tooth whitening system which results in significantly whiter teeth in about two hours! She now lives in Rogers with her husband and their two children. Kristen loves spending time with her family, cooking, and doing anything outdoors.
Tammy- Dental Hygienist Tammy grew up in Siloam Springs, Arkansas where she also attended John Brown University and is a graduate of the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences with a B.S. degree in dental hygiene. She has been in dentistry since she was 16 years old where she started out in her uncle's dental practice. Tammy has been a dental hygienist for over 10 years now. She enjoys hiking, biking, and kayaking with her husband and occasionally golfing when she gets the opportunity.
